Harbinger Systems recently attended the 17th International Cloud Expo 2015, by Sys-Con media which was held from November 3 -5, 2015 at Santa Clara Convention Center, CA. The event was dedicated to Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things and DevOps. Cloud Expo, 2015 had more than 100 booths, demo theaters and exhibits, and featured 175+ sessions. Harbinger Systems was a speaker as well an exhibitor at the event and was stationed at booth #221. This year we had an insightful session on ‘Harnessing the power of linked open data cloud for better decision making’. We also covered a case study on the development aspect of a smart app for mHealth purposes based on open data sets in cloud. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with industry veterans, business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Shrikant Pattathil, President, Harbinger Systems, was invited for an interview with Roger Strukhoff, conference chair at Cloud Expo for the second consecutive year. During the interview, Shrikant talked about the Internet of Things in healthcare, open data, wearable devices and technology challenges. He mentioned, rapidly growing market of mobile and wearable devices demands parallelly converging technology solutions to leverage the data captured through these devices in real time.
