Recently, Harbinger Systems conducted a session on ‘Application of Data Science in Government Services’ at the IPMA Forum 2016 conference and expo in Lacey, WA. The conference had active attendance by various Government CIOs, data scientists, industry leaders, etc.

The two-day event addressed some of the relevant and advancement in technology, issues of the private and public domain along with management and business priorities. The topics discussed at the conference consisted – Management/Leadership, Cloud/Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Application Development, Business, People/Process and Data.

The IPMA Forum2016 conference kicked off with the keynote session from Michael Cockrill, CIO, State of Washington. On the same day, Harbinger conducted its speaker session on Data Science for the conference attendees. In the 45-minute session, we discussed how to leverage Data Science capabilities to improve efficiency, gain in-depth insights and deliver higher valued services. Data Science acts as the backbone in delivering the best value in a service. How to record data? What needs to be done with it? And how to draw analytics from the recorded data? These were just some of the challenges we addressed in our session. At our booth numbered 5, we interacted with conference attendees and had interesting conversations about the new developments in Data Science landscape.

Here is the slide deck of the speaker presentation. We look forward to interacting with you on similar interests; please feel to drop a mail at contact@harbingergroup.com if you have any queries or need some information on our Data Science services.
