    Dr. Vikas JoshiChairman and Managing Director, Harbinger Group
    Dr. Vikas Joshi is a technology entrepreneur who believes in building innovative products that make a difference. As founder, chairman, and managing director at the Harbinger Group, he leads a growing organization serving global customers with its cutting-edge software products and services.

    Vikas is passionate about interactive e-learning, and is also a recognized thought leader in this domain. He holds two US patents based on his inventions in education technology. His best-known product innovation is Raptivity ™ , the world’s first rapid interactivity builder, which makes learning engaging and fun.

    Leveraging Harbinger’s core capabilities, Vikas and his team have developed a service model that helps other companies build their own products. Today, Harbinger is a well-established provider of software product development services to some of the world’s best known technology companies. Large global firms use Harbinger’s content development services to build custom e-learning.

    A Harvard Business School alum, Vikas earned his doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania, where his research in entrepreneurship addressed the co-evolution of technology firms and founders. American Educational Research Association recognized his work as Dissertation of the Year 2017. Earlier, he completed his undergrad engineering degree at IIT Bombay and masters in computer science at Syracuse University.

    As a business leader, Vikas believes in inspiring and developing leaders and professionals. He encourages continuous learning in his team of over five hundred employees.

    Vikas enjoys sharing his creative reflections on work and life with others through his writings and speeches. His favorite topics include interactive learning, product innovation, and entrepreneurship. He is a member of the World Entrepreneurship Forum in Lyon, France. He divides his time between Silicon Valley and Pune, India.

      SWATI KETKARExecutive Director, Harbinger Group
      Swati Ketkar is the co-founder and Executive Director at Harbinger Group. She spearheads the corporate development activities of the group companies. Her focus is on the opportunities for inorganic growth like strategic alliances, JVs, acquisitions and third party partnerships.

      Since 1990, she has held various positions in the organization related to engineering, project management, business development and numerous leadership roles. Emphasis on cadre building has been the hallmark of her professional journey. She has been passionate about building highly motivated teams by creating an environment that is nurturing and supportive for attaining a high level of performance benchmark. Her leadership has helped the group establish a sound customer base worldwide.

      Swati has been a great support in the rapid growth and expansion of Harbinger Systems with two offices in USA – the headquarters in Redmond (WA) and a satellite office in Santa Clara (CA). Swati Ketkar holds an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Pune University, India.

      Swati Ketkar is a member of the International Honour Society, ‘Beta Gamma Sigma’. The Institution of Engineers (India) honoured her in the year 2003 with the Woman Entrepreneur award.

      On personal front, Swati enjoys gardening as she finds it incredibly relaxing and an excellent way to get in touch with the mother earth.

        SEEMA CHAUDHARY.President, Harbinger Systems, Inc..
        Seema joined Harbinger Systems to head the Redmond office in 2002. She spearheads the U.S. public relations, legal, administrative and finance teams, and consultant network.

        As President, she provides critical insights that enable diverse teams succeed in a variety of highly competitive industries, cutting-edge markets, and fast-paced environments in the U.S. Seema’s relationships with prominent and influential experts in the eLearning industry have been a driver for ongoing growth for Harbinger products and services.

        Seema has a passion for customer experience, and has led the overall growth and direction of the company’s marketing initiatives, channel development, strategic partnerships, and customer acquisition through both online social media and conferences.

        Leveraging her experience in marketing, sales and business development for international markets, she has helped create new opportunities in emerging markets such as Latin America.

        Seema is a Member of the eLearning Guild and American Society of Training and Development. She holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from State University of New York, Syracuse and a Bachelor of Architecture from University of Bombay, India. She also completed the Executive Development Program at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.

        Seema serves on the City of Redmond Arts Commission and enjoys running and biking. She lives in Redmond, Washington with her husband and two sons.

        • RAJESH JAVALAGI
          RAJESH JAVALAGIVP- FINANCE, ACCOUNTS AND LEGAL HARBINGER GROUP
          As Vice President (Finance, Accounts and Legal), Rajesh is responsible for the financial reporting, taxation, treasury, internal controls and legal compliance for Harbinger Group companies. Prior to joining Harbinger in 2007, Rajesh was responsible for Finance and Accounts at an India subsidiary of a California startup. He also worked with Big 4 consulting firm “Ernst and Young” in their Audit and Assurance practice.

          Apart from Finance and Accounting, Rajesh is especially well versed with the dynamics of the FOREX market. Rajesh has drafted patent applications for Harbinger Group of companies and takes keen interest in IPR related issues.

          He holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and bachelor of law. He did a Senior Management Development Program from IIM Lucknow and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. After office hours Rajesh is usually found teaching his two school going sons, listening to music – especially Indian classical, or trying his hand at the keyboard.
          • SHRIKANT PATTATHIL
            SHRIKANT PATTATHILPRESIDENT, HARBINGER SYSTEMS, INC.
            His solutions have ranged from development frameworks, data architectures, schema designs to test strategies for applications for thin-client, rich-client and desktop.

            Teams at Harbinger have implemented these solutions using technologies such as .Net, Java and Flash. To customers and to his team, Shrikant has been a source of up-to-date knowledge of shifting technology paradigms such as Web 2.0 and SaaS.

            In the course of his tenure, Shrikant has held key positions including Project Leader, On-Site Coordinator and Lead Manager R&D. He has worked out of Harbinger’s offices in Redmond, WA for 2 years and has also completed several on-site customer consultations across the US. Customers value his ingenuity and innovation in designing sound technical approaches to business problems.

            Shrikant’s contribution in e-learning specifications has been recognized by the Aviation Industry CBT Committee, where he is a frequent speaker. He has also architected the Offline Content Player, a unique product that enables e-learning for users that need to cope with limited connectivity. Organizations such as Northwest Airlines and Bristol Myers Squibb are using this solution to enable offline learning.

            Shrikant holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering. He lives in Pune with his wife, and enjoys a variety of outdoor sports.

            • JYOTSNA KULKARNI
              JYOTSNA KULKARNIPRESIDENT, HARBINGER SYSTEMS, INC.
              She has been with Harbinger for more than 17 years and has held several key positions like Delivery Head, Sales Organization Development Head, and Member of the Executive Committee. She has spent a considerable time in management and governance of the Harbinger Group’s business units, and contributes in strategizing the growth of the entire group.

              Some of her key responsibilities over the years have been leading the delivery organization, sales organization development, managing key client partnerships, and nurturing the right culture.

              Jyotsna has been instrumental in the sustained growth of a customer base for the group’s customers, ranging from global technology companies to startups.

              Her strong belief in treating customers as partners and adding value to their business at every step of the engagement helps her to make not just business relationships but sustainable partnerships. The Harbinger culture of innovation and inclusivity is something she is extremely proud of and endeavors to instill it within every Harbinger team member along with practicing it herself.

              As President -Harbinger Systems, she is responsible for growing Harbinger’s footprint across technologies, domains and geographies.

              Jyotsna holds a Masters in Computer Science, and has completed an Executive Management Program from Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management at IIT-Bombay.
